Re: WPT Mandalay Bay thread
-This was a good one. No wonder they held it back and didn't go in the order the events actually took place.
-I didn't believe Tehan was hit that hard with the deck last year when the updates were rolling out, but now there is proof. Ayaahhhh! That final hand was just nonsense, but "good TV" as they say. -"Yukon" is dope. I wanna see more, more, MORE of his game. Just so much more creative than the average ppl we see all the time on TV. Props -I really liked that sniff-out, bluff-reraise AI by Boutin vs. Tehan. They both had nothing and Burt just shoved it all in there, that's always cool. Granted he has a few screws loose, but he's got some "stones". Poker does needs its odd-ball characters...(in small doses FTW). |

Re: WPT Mandalay Bay thread
I agree, apart from Joe getting lucky I thought the final 3 played well. Yukon is a bloody great player and despite being card donkafest dead he was playing great poker, made some interesting moves and I thought the commentators were so off with their views when he was betting quickly (that is his style and why he is a great cash game player)....
I would have loved to see the final 3 in a decent donkament with a true slow deep stack final table..... Burt played well and just got unlucky I thought.....he is a very excitable bloke...I remember that final table from WSOP in 2005. I thought the rest of the table were gonna kill him.........but he is not NASTY or disrepectful to the other players....... and he can PLAY |
