I usually listen to stuff like John Mayer during early stages in live MTTs since it relaxes me and doesn't really distract me. When i listen to hiphop/rap i tend to get more involved in the music than whats going on at the table.

I like listening to trance and electronica when I play for some reason.

I found a band at Coachella this year called Explosions in the Sky that are great to listen to while playing. They are one of the newest additions to my iPod. Other bands I heard at Coachella that will be entertaining me at the WSOP this year:
