Factory bose/infinity systems suck after about 8 years. I've learned that.

Ya, agree with the above posters.

It sounds more like an amplifier (or head-unit built-in amplifier) problem rather than a wiring one.

Did you change anything that caused this to happen, or did it just happen by itself?
