KK vs. unknown
villain is unknown
this is my 3rd hand at table Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (8 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx SB ($5.35) BB ($9.10) UTG ($12.75) UTG+1 ($5.44) MP1 ($17) MP2 ($9.90) Hero ($9.95) Button ($9.90) Preflop: Hero is CO with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.05. 2 folds, MP1 calls $0.10, MP2 calls $0.10, Hero raises to $0.6, 1 fold, SB (poster) calls $0.55, 1 fold, MP1 folds, MP2 folds. Flop: ($1.50) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) SB checks, Hero bets $1.2, SB calls $1.20. Turn: ($3.90) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) SB checks, Hero checks. River: ($3.90) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) SB calls $3.55 (All-In), Hero ??? -is there a standard line for mid-high paired flop boards? -continue aggression on the turn, or figure that since he called flop bet that he's not going away? -what effect should villain's stack size have on the way that I play this hand? dealing w/short stacks is something that I'm not clear on at all. -of course, anything else you guys have to say is also always appreciated. Re: KK vs. unknown
fold.
Any A, 10, or J has to you beat and you have no read at all. You should have bet the pot or overbet to $2 and fold to a raise on the flop. I have no problem checking it down after the turn. If you call the river you're burning money IMO. |

Re: KK vs. unknown
you played it fine....all you beat is a bluff, and he had to call you with something on the flop right?
You don't make money on these tables by picking off bluffs in spots like these. |
