Ok I think I get it. Green+Teal line coming together=we are good postflop player/have been lucky in non-showdown pots (if sample is not large enough). I don't know a lot about stats but I would think you need >200k hands for the green line/teal line relationship to mean something definiative.

A couple more questions:
1) How much earlier can we consider the winrate here our actual winrate? For example in 6 max NL its said you need a couple hundred thousand hands to get a good idea of your winrate? Using this program how much sooner do people think we can say "you are an XXX BB/100 winner"?

2) Any stats guys in here, how large a sample do we need for the green line to not also have the error of luck in it? Is there a way to calculate or at least reasonably guess this?

Have been running pretty good on FTP which I already knew. Also, I guess I'm not the biggest of nits since my expected showdown winnings run pretty close to expected total winnings. Can't wait to get to try this on primapoker where I mainly play.

i think this is the graph i would like to have.

ignore the teal line, generally.

BLUE LINE VS RED LINE

If your blue line is above your red line, you run better than expected in showdown hands (improve more often than expected, etc.)

If your blue line is below your red line, that means you run worse than expected in showdown hands (get sucked out on, etc.)

BLUE LINE VS GREEN LINE

If your blue line is above your green line, that means you lose money in non-showdown pots (tight postflop play).

If your green line is above your blue line, that means you win money in non-showdown pots (aggressive postflop play).

I think the best graphs have a red line that remains positive and a green line that remains above the blue line. The teal line is (green line - blue line + red line).

kinda a stressful roller coaster here in terms of my all in pots. About hand 24000 I distinctly remember feeling sick to my stomach:

Hand ~17500:

Stack sizes:
UTG: $2527.30
CO: $152.80
-----
-----
HP: $1193.20

Pre-flop: (5 players) HP is BB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
<font color="#cc0000">UTG raises to $14</font>, CO calls, 2 folds, HP calls.

Flop: 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($44, 3 players)
<font color="#cc0000">HP bets $44</font>, <font color="#cc0000">UTG raises to $88</font>, <font color="#cc0000">CO raises all-in $138.8</font>, <font color="#cc0000">HP raises to $233.6</font>, <font color="#cc0000">UTG raises to $1776</font>, <font color="#cc0000">HP calls all-in $1179.2</font>.
Uncalled bets: $363.2 returned to UTG.

Turn: 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

River: 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Results: Final pot: $2541.2

UTG shows T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
CO shows 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
HP shows 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

That's a huge divergence from your expected results. But it's pretty sweet that your luck rallied so that you're now very close to your expected winnings.

my green line is wayyyyyyyyyyy below my blue line

that means when i get home today, i'll play much more agressive postflop and steal/resteal more. then i'll come here and whine about losing 1/3 of my BR in 10 hands

I think in retrospect this sucks. Alot of people are going to realize that they have just run well in the past few months and are not as good as they thought they were.

You should focus on the red/blue graphs correct?
