Default NL100 - K 10 sooooted flush draw on flop - how to play against shorty?

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Hero ($101.50)
MP1 ($101.30)
MP2 ($45.25)
MP3 ($27.60)
CO ($107.15)
Button ($110.95)
SB ($102.50)
BB ($101.35)
UTG ($136)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
1 fold, Hero calls $1, 2 folds, MP3 raises to $4.5, 4 folds, Hero calls $3.50.

Probably should not limp and definitely should not call raise versus short stack.

Flop: ($10.50) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP3 bets $23.1 (All-In)

Hero?

Lead this flop? Shove it?

raise pf b/c flopp as played call and learn some basic odds (not trying to sound like a [censored], serious suggestion)

pretty easy call imo. we have 12 outs most of the time and 15 quite a bit of the time. I think c/r'ing is best on the flop because he's usually cbetting less and often folding t a raise whereas bet/calling induces pushes from hands that slightly beat us but that we'd rather they fold.

What odds are you saying that I should know here? Outs to the flush?

you have 12 definite outs and probably 15 (i think the K is good alot) and maybe 18 sometimes (T could be good too). You have the odds for the worst case scenario and the others you are favourite

You should be able to estimate you're equity in the hand and then compare that to the equity you need dictated by the pot odds for it to be a call.
In this example it's probably best to assume that you have 12 outs on average: 9 for the FD and 3 for the gutshot (obviously you have 3 K's as outs a lot but this is probably offset by the times he has a set and has re-draws or he has the NFD and you have significantly less equity.) 12 outs corresponds to about 45% equity if I remember correctly. You're being given 33:23 or about 3:2 to the pot meaning you need to have 40% equity on avg. to break even and you probably have aout 45% against his range so it's a call.

Yeah - I figured that I was actually ahead if the king was an out as well.

I called and he showed AKo with the ace of diamonds, so the king was no good, but it gave me outs to the ten. I missed turn and river.

I think others are right to b/c flop and I should either raise this up PF or just fold it.
