99
Villain is 50ish/9/1 and too loose postflop over 100 hands.
Preflop: Villain raises in UTG/MP, Hero reraises 99 on button, tightish blinds fold, Villain calls. Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Villain checks, Hero checks. Turn: Something irrelevant Villain bets, Hero folds. I hesitated preflop. I just couldn't see him raise any lower pockets. He will call any flop correctly and call a lot of turns UI with overs without making a big mistake. I will on the other hand make a lot of mistakes postflop. Preflop? |

Re: 99
3-betting preflop to isolate is fine. That flop is so awful that I think not c-betting HU might actually be right here.

Re: 99
nice hand. i c-bet pretty close to 100% of the time heads up, but this is a good spot to give up.

Re: 99
I c-bet this here a ton too because you'd be surprised at how often they'll fold. this is fine as played though

Re: 99
If villians PFR is really 9 (hard to tell after only 100 hands) then 99 doesn't do very well against his range.
I'd still bet this flop and pray, if called I give up unless I improve. |

Re: 99
Yeah against a somewhat taggish guy this is a 100% cbet. This villain in the hand is loose, so nice flop check.
