This is quite contrary however to a lot of the arguments that Harrington makes about tournament play.

I've got to go back and read those again to address this with any specificity, but I would say that you usually make more in a tournament when you outflop an overpair than in a cash game. That is, if you're playing with 50BBs in a tournament game and you outflop an overpair, you will stack them quite often (and if you don't, they are probably getting run over), but you are much less likely to take 50BBs out of a 100-150BB stack when you outflop an overpair at a cash game. Obviously not true of all players...
