400NL - reacting to weird river overbet
Villain is 16/14/3 & sees me as ~22/19/3. He recently caught me bluffing the river on a 4 flush board. I don't think a 16/14 is calling PF with SC's, so it seems to me like he either has a set, overpair or missed overs. The action doesn't really fit a made hand though (maybe AA/KK?). I doubt he would check behind on the turn with a set. . . board is getting ugly & would he shove the river with 99-TT here? I'm having a hard time putting him on a hand.

If villain has a set why would he raise the flop (fastplay), but then check behind on the turn (slowplay)? That's why I've posted this hand. . . villain's line doesn't make any sense to me. And if that is your range for villain. . . do you fold 33 here? |

Re: 400NL - reacting to weird river overbet
this is waht i am thinking: why does villain check behind on the turn? if villain had a set on the flop he really can check the turn with so many draws. i could see he him playing 67 (maybe clubs) like this. and this is also why i would c/c flop and bet a turn blank every time, bc many draws with check the turn behind.

Re: 400NL - reacting to weird river overbet
I'd probably just fold the flop against this guy. Tough hand to play OOP.
