Default Can I call this scare card river?

Villain is 17/9 over 400 hands. We're both fairly deep so I'm not too concerned with the preflop call.

this hand is completely read-based and all you provided was "17/9." come on man, if you want good advice on a hand like this, you should describe past hands with your opponent, your thoughts on his tendencies, etc.

Aggression factor would be very helpful.

If he is as nitty postflop as pre, I think you can safely fold.

simple fold, you would have a better idea of your place in the hand if you bet the turn. as played, i fold this

I'd be very tempted to call this here although as already said it's so opponent dependent. If he shows AA or a flopped set well good bet to him, otherwise, i think this is some random pocket pair (which decided to turn into bluff due to our turn check, so standard) or suited connector 1 pair hand crap a lot.
My point is passive nits like this tend to milk waaaay too much, and after showing weakness on the turn i'm surprised we get a pot sized river bet.

His stats could make me change my mind, what about his postflop aggression?

P.S: I really don't think shove>call here Jinx, his range is very air/set based and he's like never bluffing with a better hand, why in the world would you prefer shoving than calling? Trying to make bottom set fold?
