Re: Is this an awesome play against aggro opponents?
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] What would you do on the turn if he'd called your 3-bet? [/ QUOTE ] if he called, I'm looking to c/f the turn. I've done this a zillion times before... I wish there were a way to filter it in PT. I can count in my head at least 5 other times the action went the same way. [/ QUOTE ] I'm not a math guy, but it seems to me that you've lost 1 bajillion, 999 billions, 999 millions, 999 thousands, 995 times... to win 5 SB. |

Re: Is this an awesome play against aggro opponents?
[ QUOTE ]
Villain is 53/33/3. I do this a ton to a lot of over-aggro opponents. Basically, they hit hard, they call and raise the turn. Once the dude raises on this flop, I know he's full of shizzit. Anyone else do this or am I the only one? [/ QUOTE ] The real key to this play is the AF of 3 (which implies folding too often) and some past experience where you've seen a raise/fold. |

Re: Is this an awesome play against aggro opponents?
I kinda like it: no way someone that aggro openlimps Ax from CO, but mostly because your K7 is almost always ahead right now.
Of course, if Villain has a bad 9 or a diamond draw, which would fit the action, he's not going anywhere. |
