i prob value shove, i feel villain has AQ AJ AT here alot.

weird, huh? it seems every time i cbet one of those guys they never fold any ace high on the flop, and obv if they spike TP they go wild.

Obv you should c-bet sometimes but with 2 callers and overs I think I check flop a lot. This opst brings up a good point though; if villain is going to float with an A then he will def overcommit when he hits it and if you happen to know that about someone I guess flop bet is perfect.

if he's on AQ-AT, shouldnt we just call to pretty much guarantee that we get his stack on the river, since a 3-bet might let him off the hook? or are there enough draws that might get there and bug him out that we want it in now?

Those two considerations may well cancel each other out -- sometimes a turn shove will scare off a worse Ace that would otherwise get it in on a brick river, but sometimes a scare card comes on the river and frightens a worse Ace that would have called a turn shove.

If they do mostly cancel each other out, what you're left with is a shove so that you don't give a draw a free card.

That's assuming you're not folding, of course.

As played I dont like the turn fold against this guy. He knows that the ace is an ideal card for you to continue bluffing while you might check for pot control if it actually hit you. I think air/weak draws are a significant part of his range here (lacking better reads).
