Tough flop decision
6-handed 200 $ NL, 100BB effective stacks:
UTG raises to 7, Button and SB call and I call in the BB with 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Flop: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Pot is 28. I lead for 19, UTG min-reraises to 38 and Button flatcalls. Action to me?? UTG is a rock 10/6/9 over 1400 hands!! I know he has an overpair here always and thats what I hoped for when I lead the flop. Button is running like 30/15/2,5 over a smaller sample and is a little weak but not terrible and not very loose postflop. |

Re: Tough flop decision
I would 3-bet here. There's a lot of draws here that you could possibly holding. It's a tough fold for an overpair, if that's what your opponents have here. And I don't think a 9 would min-raise here. The flat call could be a draw. Probably raise to 100 or just push.

Re: Tough flop decision
Please read! UTG has an overpair! Button can have anything: 10 9, 98, J9, A9, K9, Q9 and 66 which has me crushed.
Which other hands can he have which I beat and is not a draw? Calling with a draw here is really weak and I dont know if he does that. Im surprised this hand is not more interesting. |
