<font color="white"> (6^(6/2)+4)/4 = 55 is another way of doing the same thing </font>

another solution:

4/4=1
1+6=7
7^2=49
49+6=55</font>

Posting my answer without reading the replies. I'm assuming we can square without using a 2:

<font color="white">(((6+4)^2)+6+4)/2</font>

Edit: nevermind, I now see we need to use a 2 for squaring [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]
