Re: NL100, sticky river spot w/ AA vs unknown
3bet flop, call a shove
His range on the flop is big so you can comfortably 3bet without any fear |

Re: NL100, sticky river spot w/ AA vs unknown
FLOP: Calling the flop raise and 3-betting the flop are both fine. The board isn't terribly wet at all. The obvious problem with not 3-betting the flop is that the turn can get checked through sometimes...but whatever.
TURN: as played, I like leading the turn and folding to a raise. I hate when the King came off since KQ makes up a significant part of his range and I don't think he pays you off with AQ anymore, but it depends if he thinks he's pot committed. And your hand looks like KQ, so he wont be raising with a worse hand. |

[/ QUOTE ] I like this line the best, I think as played we can eliminate KQ from his range since he would not check behind on the turn with KQ. I don't know why I did not include JJ in his range on my original reply , but that hand is also a possibility. IMO the best line is : Flop - Bet/call, Turn - Lead/fold to a raise. As played I think you have to call the river since your hand was not properly represented. But probably as high as 40% of the time I would expect you to be vs QT, TT or a flush. |

TBH, looks to me like he just stole a free card off OP and caught it on the river.
