Ya, I remember liking it when it was on. Mitchell Hurwitz of Arrested Devleopment was prominently involved (at least as a writer; maybe head writer? creator? I don't feel like looking it up).

Nerd-Alert from my adolescence:

AL TV specials on MTV and then later on VH1 in which Weird Al Yankovic takes over the station for a few hours and plays really off-the-wall videos and does various comedy-bits.

It also had Simpsons talent. Hank Azaria and Yeardley Smith were both in it, there might have been more but its been a long time.
