Default QQ vs pf minraise and check/insta-call on jack-high flop

Confusing subject? He minraised preflop UTG, I re-raised in late. He check/insta-called a 3/4pot-bet on a pretty non-threatning flop. Villian is 30/6/0.57

Texas Hold'em No Limit EUR 0.10/0.20 - 6 Players

veivikaula 20.55£
Hero 5.92£

Preflop:
Hero was dealt: Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] - Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
veivikaula Raise (0.40), Hero Raise (0.80), veivikaula Call (0.40)

Flop: J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] - 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] - 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

veivikaula Check, Hero Bet (1.20), veivikaula Call (1.20),

Turn: J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] - 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] - 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] - 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

veivikaula Check, Hero All-In (3.92), veivikaula Call (3.92)

disclaimer: Im a total noob, any comment about my game is helpful, flame me please or something. Should I stop playing for like a week, read TOP and SS1, then start playing again?

First,
you should start playing with a full buyin when you feel more comfortable.
This way you can extract the maximum from your opponents mistakes.
Second,
never raise the minimum.
In this case Id at least raise to 1 preflop.
Third,
bet the size of the pot on the flop.

Shoving the rest in the middle on the turn is fine.
But remember, with deeper stacks this hand could look very different.

Good luck.

Thanks for replying dude, anyway I had a half a buyin because I've been running pretty bad so I go down in buyins cuz I can't go down in limits(this is the lowest on that site ), maybe thats a bad idea... Am I correct in that its more +EV to have as big a buy-in as possible, think I read that somewhere.

You know I hate minraising, but I don't really know how much to raise preflop if it is a raised pot. Can't use that lovely 4+1BB/limper formula. What would the considerations be when you would like to re-raise preflop? potsize?

BTW, is it a good idea to stop playing for a while and just study?

Yes. IF you think you are better than your opponents.
Which you will be if you keep posting and asking questions.

I generally reraise three times the original raise.
(Of course this depends on the size of the original raise)

Of course not. Thats just absurd.
