I would raise flop b/c it's SOO weak, or at least raise turn b/c its unreal weak again.

Im so confused why the flop bet was not raised. Obv he is not folding AK but if he has a lower FD or some stupid str8 draw we could probebly get it in as a huge favorite.
As played, river looks like a check, only a few weaker Qs out there will call you, and thats very unlikey. |

I don't think we need to raise the flop here. An opponent who bets like this is pretty unlikely to let go of a K, and there is no real merit in knocking him off a worse made hand. If he is drawing to clubs then we will always stack him should they hit; so really the only hand we would be looking to fold would be something like JT (that is unlikely to be in his range anyhow given preflop), and even that holding has relatively few outs against us. As played, I can't see any value in a river bet, so it looks great overall as far as I'm concerned.
Of course, if the CO had not folded we would have quite a different discussion at hand... |
