TT,

what is your source for the value of JH's inheritance? I think I recall Jenn claiming that her inheritance was a myth or something...

[/ QUOTE ]

The myth (as I have been told it) was that she had the inheritance before she started to play big. The inheritance came after she was already playing in the biggest games so I was told (I don't remember the sources, but its a rather common enough table chatter topic that I assumed to be more factual than fiction). Wasn't there some discussion of this in Michael Craig's book as well? I just did a quick hunt for it, but couldn't find anything.

Gazes is supposedly independently wealthy to retire now, what does that translate to, she can support herself trading equity options in Australia and have risk free income and savings......others ???

[/ QUOTE ]

Kristy Gazes sounds like the female Phil Gordon.

she has been cast in big roles by woody (yuk) allen and other directors. but, for money, look at her voice-overs. there is a lot of money generated over time by those. all depends on her agent. if she had good management she should be pretty wealthy..............b

Undeniably one the best looking of the current high-profile female players, but certainly she can be taken off this list as a richest player candidate.

NO INHERITANCE FOR JENNIFER HARMAN.

In the November 29, 2005 issue of Cardplayer on page 122, Michael Craig has an article about poker rumors;

Rumor: Jennifer received millions as an inheritance.

Jennifer: "My dad disowned me when I was 19. It was only seven years ago that he warmed up to me. But on the internet, I've read that I'm worth $80 million and I'm the richest person in the big game. I'd love to have $80 million and be the richest person in that game. I'm probably one of the poorest people in that game, if I had to think about it."

Kristy Gazes is having a CAREER YEAR on the tournament circuit:

- 4 WPT cashes during Season 4 (Mirage, Mandalay Bay, Bellagio 5 Diamonds, Commerce)

- 7th place at the Aussie Millions (first major OPEN event TV final table, not counting the Plaza UPC or the made-for-TV invitation-only events)

http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/play...=r&n=18398

Kristy should be one of the at-large invitees for WPT Ladies Night V, along with Mimi Tran and probably Melissa Hayden as well.

WPT Ladies Night V will have a LOADED lineup that is comparable to the star power of WPT Ladies Night I, likely with 4 pros who are among the top 12 in career tournament earnings among females in J.J. Liu, Mimi Tran, Kristy Gazes, and Melissa Hayden.)
