Matt Vasgersian has been a long time sports announcer and game show host.
Vasgersian did the Ladbroke Poker Million from the Isle of Man on FSN in 2000. He has been doing TV poker for NBC and GSN since 2004. He was the voice of Major League Baseball's Milwaukee Brewers, and I believe he is still the voice of the San Diego Padres.

The tournament recap in the opening had some basic errors, identifying Raymer as the 2005 WSOP ME champion and Hachem as the 2006 champion.
I guess that's one way to pretend the Jamie Gold win didn't happen.

I'm not sure what was worse, Brown's value check of the absolute nuts on the river to close the action, or Gazes' comments afterwards.
