Live 6/12 QQ on the button
Live 6/12 9-handed, average 4/flop, PFR 3/orbit, showdown seen 2/3 of the time. Only one player has been out of line, but he folds preflop. The rest have if been fairly straightforward, a little loose PF, but tighter postflop. I have been the tightest player on the table, have one a single pot, and have not shown down in 45 minutes so far. Villain is 50ish Chinese man with the largest chip stack and probably the best of the other players at the table.
4 limp, Mr. C looks at QQred and raises, blinds fold, others all cold call Flop: 468 rainbow I bet, 3 callers Turn: 9 (2spades now on board) Check, check, MP bets, I ??? |

The pot is 10,25BB.
You must raise to protect your hand even though you're behind some per cent of the time. |

Re: Live 6/12 QQ on the button
this is a very easy raise. you are still so often ahead your decision is really pretty easy. villain being the "best" of the other players at the table makes it even more obvious. a really passive player would pose a much bigger problem.

Re: Live 6/12 QQ on the button
Yeah, easy raise given the 2 other players behind us & potentially vulnerability of our hand when best. The real question becomes what to do if we get 3bet.

Re: Live 6/12 QQ on the button
Okay, so I raised and the villain folded. I just wanted to check that I wasn't being overly aggressive here and missing overcallers. Thanks all.
