Default 97o Live 2/5 game in Blackhawk, Co

Just got done playing live 2/5 poker in Blackhawk. I'm on the button 7 limpers. I limp behind with 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] The bets on flop turn and river are anything from 2 to 5 dollars depending on whose betting. Only once in the last 3 hours has anyone bet anything other then 5 dollars on any street. The blind is anything from 2-5 dollars as well and is always 2 dollars exept for one older guy who posts 3 dollars. In this case its 2 dollars.

Flop comes 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] It gets checked around to an extremely loose player in MP who just sat back down and really doesn't seem to have any rhythm to his play style. Could be betting air, could be betting the nuts. He bets, it gets raised to $10 (2bb) by a fairly tight passive player although I have seen her play draws very aggressively. She is directly to his left.

Folded around to me with 4 to act after me now. Whats my move?? The table will likely have 3-4 see the river no matter the action.

7 Limpers? I'm definately up for a trip next month. I think you are going to get paid enough if you hit your one outer to stay in and turn the 6h.

i'm not sure you should limp here. in a game with this structure, your implied odds aren't very good since the bet size stays the same throughout the hand. otoh, since the bet size never increases, you will always see the river once you've decided to see the turn, which means you can go further with weak draws. hmm.

anyway, you can fold this flop. you have a weak made hand with a couple weak draws, plus an RIO situation.

i don't know if kerowo is levelling or whatever, but you're never making up 35 bets or whatever on a 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] board.

Not leveling, but I don't see someone with a high flush slowing down because of the SF possibility. Granted this is only based on all the rumors of how bad live players are at these limits.

tyler - what about when the turn and river are the case nines?

anyway i think i prefer a fold here. chances are pretty good with 8 to the flop that someone has a flush.

kerowo,

it may not even be possible to make up 35 bets in this structure (what is the cap? is it uncapped HU?).

eskimo,

good point. we can definitely make up 60 bets, so gogogogogo.
