Re: confused with the reason for the post ?
Hi Nick:
I like to somethings just throw things out without any conmment and let our readers take it from there. This way anything I might say won't have the flaw of pre-conditioning any of the responses. Best wishes, Mason |

Re: Big Problems with Ed Miller
[ QUOTE ]
i made alot of money using the concepts presented in NLHTAP. im not sure why so many people critisize this book. [/ QUOTE ] I got a lot out of NLHTP. In my opinion, it ranks with Doyle's chapter in SS as the best on no limit cash games. I haven't read Syder's book, but I have read his articles, and I didn't find anything useful in them. He gets attention because he claims to refute classic works. I don't know why Mason and others are taking him seriously at all. When Mason seems threatened by Snyder's criticisms, iit gives the impression there actually something significant in Snyder's writings. |

So he understandably is under the incorrect impression that people are still paying some attention to him. |

NLTAP>>>>>>>>>>>& gt;>>>>>>>>>>>> ;>>>>>>>>>>>Any other nl cash book.
Brunson made poker to easy to play, I can tell the minute that someone has read doyles book because they frequently go Ai on the flop (regardless of stack sizes). IF NLTAP wasnt written then alot of the Staples of a proper NL stradegy would not be understood. I read NLTAP 6 months ago, Im now a small stakes pro, and about to become a mid stakes pro, and I owe most if not all to that book. |

[/ QUOTE ] with all due respect david, it would appear that a fair number of people on here pay him a huge amount of attention.... now, whether justified or not might be another story.... |
