2007 Win $900k, pay $360k in taxes

2008 Lose $300K. pay zero in taxes

Two year total +$600k, taxes paid $360K.

[/ QUOTE ]

i dont know my tax stuff, but arent certain tax deductions able to be used/applied across multiple years?

I dont remember specific details, but my dad has had his own company for a while, and I remember hearing some kind of example like this, about if the bussiness has a profitable year follow by a loss (or vice versa i dunno).
Is this only for coorporations? or does it not exist in any form.

[/ QUOTE ]

It does not exist in any form. Your not comparing apples to apples here.

compare that to the hundreds of thousands of hands played by bld against anyone who wanted a piece, and his WR during that time was sick.

[/ QUOTE ]

There was a period of time where I saw datamined stats of Party 10/20nl that had Bld at >8ptbb/100 over >400,000 hands. 2nd place was lolo and Tiz at like 5pt. This is when 10/20nl was the biggest game on Party.

Pretty gross then that shortstackers could make 5ptbb/100 in those games.
