Red Sox were defenitly the better team both before and after the series. But despite the history of no one doing it, it wasn't a mind blowing comeback after they got the first two games...esp with K. Brown pitching game 7.

There is nothing amazing about a 4-game win streak. Those fall under the category of "slightly improbable comebacks".

The Jets/Dolphins came from 2000. I can remember staying up all night to watch this game because I'm a Jet fan in Tennessee and we don't usually get any Jets games on TV.

Needless to say, @ like 1:30 when the game was finally over, I could barely fall alseep.

Bills vs Oilers 1992. Down 35-3.

Easily the greatest comeback of all-time.

Watching this game is one of my earliest sports memories. Frank Reich FTW.

Yah most of the damage was in the 3rd Qtr but still Thurman & Biscuit were also hurt in addition to Kelly plus they kicked our ass the week before in Houston...was a hopeless feeling for a while.

European Championship in 2000:

Norway had 1 win, 1 tie, and 1 loss, and would be through to the playoffs if Yugoslavia didn't lose to Spain. At 90 minutes Yugoslavia was leading 3-2, but in injury time Spain scored two for the win and eliminated Norway from the tournament.

Hard to forget that one.

No question. I was at the game with my cousin. We bought tickets at the window. The game was not sold out. It was about 40 degrees and rainy/snowy. Just a misreable day. At least half of the fans left after halftime.

We were hugging complete strangers. People were actaully crying with joy. Unreal experience.

If it's never been done before in baseball playoff history is it still "slightly improbable"?

That said, Joe Tall is out of line. It may well be the "best", but the thread title is Amazing Comebacks, not Best Comeback. Plus not everyone likes or follows baseball.

I went to an MLS playoff game a couple years ago, where the Earthquakes were down 2-0 after the first leg, and the Galaxy scored two more to go up 4-0. The Earthquakes scored 4 goals to send it to overtime, where they scored the final goal a few minutes in.
I know its MLS, but still it was pretty awesome
