Early $10r- 99 v. smaller stack
Fresh out of the rebuy period. Villain wasn't gambling during the rebuy period. No one else was either. That's all I have on the guy. What's my plan against his stack. Re-raise preflop? How should I approach his flop check?

probe, about 1/2 the pot. i think a reraise is either a push or fold, leaning towards a fold.IMHO

Re: Early $10r- 99 v. smaller stack
The fact that your instincts are he's fairly tight by the way he played the rebuy hour this is a must bet IMO.
I bet 700 which represents 25% of his chips and only 10% of yours to pick up the pot. He really cant flat call here unless he has a monster and you've put a potentially weak/tight player to the test for all of his chips. If he calls I shut it down as I can feel fairly certain I'm behind. If he shoves you have a decision but if your read from the rebuy hour is he's weak/tight I think I cn lay down here to a reraise. |
