I fold preflop. Flop and turn are fine. VB the river, call a raise because people will raise with straights you beat. If he filled up oh well.

Yeah playing these types of garbage hands can get you in trouble so fold these uncoordinated hands PF. Flop and turn you played fine, and river I would VB this too. I'm not entirely sure what is the best approach if he does RR you in this spot.

folding pre flop is the only glaring error here. i dont mind a check on the river as there arnt many hands that can call a bet that you can beat here - the 2 most likely hands are flush draw and set - 4 flush isnt going to pay you off and a set now obviously beats you

pref: Fold
Flop: ok
Turn: push, good
River: Bet smaller, like 5ish. If he bets, I might fold (but because of these limits calling might be ok). He might fold because people at these stakes love to hold on to flush draws.

This river's close; I'd probably check it most of the time but it's player-dependent. If you think he's bad enough to call you down with J7, then go ahead and put $4 or $5 in. If he's tricky/solid, just take a free showdown.

If you do bet, you definitely don't want to be calling a raise though. A river raise means a full house ~90% of the time in this spot. If you're considering calling a river raise, then you definitely want to be checking this behind.
