I call the flop and let him fire again on the turn.
As played, I check behind on the turn and hope for a cheap showdown. You can only beat a bluff but you have showdown value.

I really hate your flop 3bet. What worse hands call you ever? You definetely fold out ever 6, and 78 calls you once in a blue moon. Flat call his flop raise, and go from there. I'm definetely calling most turns, and folding a lot of rivers.

the 3-bet on the flop is gross...after he calls it, I'm done with the hand.

BTW, your turn shove is a stone cold bluff as played.

yeh just call the flop bet...not is 3betting bad 'value wise', but it also significantly lessens your positional advantage.

So the flop 3-bet is bad even if you are pretty sure he would cr w/ a str8 draw, or atc for that matter?

If we do call the flop cr what are we looking to do on the turn? Call a bet and hopefully get it checked on river or boat up?

bad, he would call the flop 3-bet w/ a str8 draw, maybe even any 6. I guess I didn't explain that very well in the OP.

Example: He called a 3-bet PF from a solid BB and proceeded to make a big flop raise w/ 98s flush draw and got all in vs AK on an K 2 4 flop.
