We will be the only ones in the rooms doing live updates and chip counts.

That actually did happen during the WPT Champs updates. But PN seems to have quality in the forefront of their minds, so I'm confident that, for the most part, things like AK high being declared a FH or the flop being Td Ah Td will be a thing of the past.

The rumor about Jedi MIGHT be true, that's all I can say.

Also, instead of the 18 or so reporter interns that CardPlayer used last year, we have teams led by VETERAN tourney reporters and will have a team closer to FIFTY.

The headline to the article contains the word 'exclusive' (ie only Pokernews allowed to provide updates and no one else) but the actual text of the article doesn't mention anything about exclusivity.

So will the Pokernews reporters be the only ones allowed access to the tables?

Other reporters are allowed access to the tables on the condition that they don't provide live updates on the web.

Despite being one of the 5 or 6 people to hold an equity stake in Bluff Media, I haven't seen the PN and Bluff agreement or the Harrah's and Bluff agreement. But from what I've been told by the other owners of Bluff, only PN will be allowed to provide chip count and written updates on the field. What the definition is of that, I'm not sure.

I don't know why the WSOP picked Bluff Magazine and Bluff Media. I would guess it is because they are a class operation and can deliver what Harrah's wanted. It was a business decision and they partnered with the best company for their purposes. That is the way big corporations do things. Bluff Magazine is for sale at book stores and magazine stores all over America and Europe. Card Player has withdrawn from the newsstands in favor of being given away in card rooms. Both are fine magazines.

Some people will be denoted as "bloggers" and be able to post once every 60 minutes. Others will be denoted differently and only allowed to post recaps every 24 hour period.

Only Bluff and PokerNews can do running live updates and up-to-the-minute chip counts.
