I hate this. I was in the exact same situation today except it was top set kings...Although, my villain value bet $80 into a $100 pot. I called...and was upset. If that's any indication, it's a fold, but I hate it so damn much. I was super pissed at poker today. Kept getting screwed over and over...then made everything I was down and then some back with this hand:

Party Poker
No Limit Hold'em Cash Game
$1/$2 Blinds
5 Players
LegoPoker HH Converter

<font color="black">SB: $84.95</font>
<u>Hero (BB): $492.76</u>
<u>UTG: $48.50</u>
CO: $230.56
<u>BTN: $292.90</u>

<font color="black">Preflop:</font> Hero is dealt 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 Players)
<font color="red">UTG raises to $4.00</font>, CO folds, BTN calls $4.00, SB calls $3.00, Hero calls $2.00

<font color="black">Flop:</font> ($16) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 Players)
SB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $15.20</font>, <font color="red">UTG raises all-in to $44.50</font>, <font color="red">BTN raises to $90.00</font>, SB folds, <font color="red">Hero raises all-in to $488.76</font>, BTN calls all-in for $198.90
Uncalled bet of $199.86 returned to Hero

<font color="black">Turn:</font> ($638.30) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 Players - 3 All-In)

<font color="black">River:</font> ($638.30) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 Players - 3 All-In)

UTG had A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (a pair of Nines) and LOST (-$48.50)
BTN had 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (two pairs, Nines and Sixes) and LOST (-$292.90)
Hero had 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (a straight Six to Ten) and WON (+$343.40)

Although J9s i very likely, id call all day. Its a funny line and you have a set. QK in a fishy valueshove and such are not impossible since you know nothing about villain.

I call all day long. But then again, I've been losing to set over set a lot lately.

lol gir your hand is completely different, villain hit a obvious flush draw, you don't have to call just because you have a set

OP - instacall that [censored] with a fistpump (seems like two pair is much more likely here)

i've been railing party poker games lately and the complete passiveness of the idiots makes me think bottom set isn't a terribly hard fold here

edit: and yeah gir wtf don't highjack this thread with the worst analogy seen in weeks
