Default 60/120 Commerce vs. Bellagio vs. Wynn

I am a 40/80 player looking to move up to 60/120 in the near future and am interested in hearing where would be the best place to play..

The Commerce 60 runs the most often, but charges a drop of $12/half hour! This seems like blatent theivery to me. Even with the free food.

The Bellagio 60 has a collection of $7/half hour, which is almost half. However the game might be a little bit harder (im not sure that it is, im just relying on hearsay). It also doesnt run as consistenly or have the table selction the Commerece 60 game would have. Im confident I could get most of my meals paid for at the Bellagio thru comps, so im effectively getting pretty close to free food at the Bellagio too.

The Wynn 60 also has a collection of $7/half hour, but if it follows the Wynn's motif for having extremely difficult games, it doesnt sound like a game im interested in.

Anyone have any experience with any of these 3 games and can perhaps reveal whether or not the cheaper rake at the Bellagio is worth the slighly tougher opposition as compared to the Commerce? Is there any other 60/120 games out there besides these 3 games? (i dont think so, but I could be wrong..)

The Commerce 60 can be beaten for at least 150 an hour, 200 maybe. The game is great. The time charge is high but for what you get its well worth it. The Bellagio 60's I've seen are good too but sporadic. There really is no choice here.

Also, it's a collection pot at Commerce, so you can judiciously avoid paying any collection. And in the typically wild games, you'll be playing less than half the number of hands of most of your opponents, so you won't be paying much collection.

I played the 60 today, in the morning, and then went to play 20-40 with a buddy. The 60 game was a much, much better game.

But be prepared for a roller coaster. One hand I had 7-6s in the BB, twelve or thirteen of us played for two bets preflop, flop came T-9-8, I bet out, it ended up being capped 4 ways, turn was a 2, I bet and it ended up being capped 4 ways, river paired the 2 and I assumed I was then cooked, if I had not been already. There was a bet (from crazy Tony for those who know the game), a call, and I gave a crying call, since you couldn't see the table for the chips. AMHWG.

Dude, you're going about this the wrong way if you're thinking about time charge. The game selection and pool of fish at Commerce are unparalleled at every limit. That's why a bunch of Bay area locals drive down there 10 wknds/year.

Also, isn't Bay101 $12 for 1/2? And I'd bet that a good 40/80 player would beat the Commerce 60 for more money than Bay101 100 at least in the short term.

I got talking with a Bellagio regular who was pretty good at the Bellagio $15-30 last year. Shes a lurker here, and I ran into her later at Commerce. Anywho, her husband regularly plays the $30-60 at Bellagio and apparently does very well. She said he rarely plays the $60-120 there because the lineup is usually too tough. I've heard that from other sources as well.

Frankly, when I look at the bigger games at Commerce...even the huge NL games and the $100-200 LHE, I often see the same guys that were horrible at $9-18. It's pretty ridiculous, but I guess people really have tons of money to burn. I wouldn't be surprised if Los Angeles was like the lawsuit settlement capital of the world.

Once upon a time they had it, before NL took over their room. I remember watching it once. It was played with silver $20 chips. At this point, it sounds like it never runs though.
