I am not sure if that was a good fold or not. I can certainly see how it would make your 3's full look like a pair of deuces tho. I do not kno anything about the player, but if I base him off your average $11 sng player playing solid ABC poker, it would go like this:
Preflop: i duno if he would limp with a weak ace (a2 - a8), if someone did raise behind him, his only option would most likely be to flat call the raise and play the hand OOP. I don't kno if he would 3bet with a dry ace OOP, if someone plays back he is basically guaranteed to be behind. I can possibly see him limping with a big ace however, (A10 - AK) and trying to put in a 3bet if someone in LP makes a standard raise. In the same mold, I can see him limping with a wired pair (small to flop a set, big one to reraise a LP raiser) I think that you would hafta put him on a big ace to make this fold, I cannot see him holding a weak ace here, based on the lack of info given. It's possible he limped to see a flop with two small cards and could be holding 4-5 and is betting a double bellybuster. The re-raise on the turn could also represent JJ,QQ or KK, but i don't think he would play it like that. Of the range of hands we can put him on there are not enough hands that have you beat to justify a fold here. He has us beat if he has: 66, 36, or any ace. Any other hand and you are ahead. |

Not pushing the turn here is terrible. Also your check raise on the flop completely gave away your hand. You need to bet out on the flop.

When he raises the turn, he's saying "I'm not going anywhere". Push. [/ QUOTE ] He can't really go anywhere unless he is on a complete bluff since he is pretty much pot comitted now. Seems to me that he is playing a suited A6 here based on the betting patterns and the fact that alot of players at the 11s limp with any suited aces. That said, I don't think you can really justify folding the river unless you have a read here. You might not be happy about it, but I think you have to make the call on the river. |
