extract the most against two others
Early in a 45 player $5.5 SnG on Stars
Too early for reads as of yet Comments on all streets if you like ... should I have folded to the flop betting or was it a good play to call? Can I get more from them or should I bet this because I have two in with me? Re: extract the most against two others
You have ~ 1,000 left, so a 600 raise is pretty pointless, just calling lets flush / 2 pair / trips in for cheap, someone has at least a Queen here, I prob just shove the turn.

Re: extract the most against two others
PF: fold
Flop: as this is pretty much the flop you hoped for, call is fine (implied odds are good) Turn: I probably just shove, after calling the 300 there is already 1500 in the pot and you have only 1000 left. You also don't want to give a free card to a potential flush draw. (Just started playing MTTs so my opinion might not be the standard play) |

Re: extract the most against two others
You are pushing 1000 at a 1500 pot, so probably just push. There is probably a flush draw there that won't pay you off on the river unless it hits.
As the other poster implied, there is a good chance they are not on straight draws or have one pair. A flush draw has 9 outs, a set 10 outs, and a 2-pair 4 outs. |

I pushed and they folded ... one said "9-10 eh"
Yeah ... I have to protect against the flush draw thanks |

Yes, raising all in is the proper play here. If you call, you're going to wreak of suspicion anyway + give free cards for flushes and/or higher straights. I see no advantage whatsoever to smooth calling here; it's a great example of how raising AI is a must. |

Re: extract the most against two others
Pre flop is fine.
On the flop, not sure I'd call against two given you only have 6 safe outs. Turn easy push. |
