Another name of a character that is taken from real life.

"Richard Alpert" aka "Ram Dass" was the other professor that did all the experimentation with Tim Leary at harvard with LSD and then went on to became immersed in Indian Spirituality after that. Probably nothing more then where the writers heads were at with all the Dharma iniative and all the spiritual stuff that comes from, but just something I noticed when I found his last name was Alpert on the site with the new images.

In response to a couple of other general posts, as I said before, I love Lost. I've loved this season to death, because I'm getting the answers slowly but surely, which is cool. What is frustrating is when they open up new questions before they finish off some of the old ones. What is more frustrating is when some of those new questions seem to make no sense whatsoever (i.e. Jacob).

I have plenty of patience. I was watching each episode when everyone else was yelling "They better get moving or I quit."

I just don't like some of the directions they are moving. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

OK, I think the spoilers are getting a little out of control. If you make a spoiler in white, you can't talk about the spoiler in regular text either or it defeats the purpose. So you end up with a bunch of white posts - so why not just keep with the thread title and make it "spoiler-free"?
