[ QUOTE ]
Intuitively KQs fairs much better against most calling ranges than 66.

[/ QUOTE ]

random hand: KQs=66
{22+,A2s+,A2o+}: 33>KQs>22
{22+,A2s+,A7o+,KTs+,QJs}: 44>KQs>33
{22+,A6s+,KJs+,QJs,JTs,A9o+,KQo}: KQs=44
{66+,ATs+,AJo+}: 77>KQs>66
{TT+,AQs+,AKo}: 33>KQs>22

I think shoving KQ is really bad. It's at best marginally +$EV and you are giving everybody a free note if you get called. Prepared to start getting called a lot more liberally and in general hating the fact that everybody looks you up way more than they should.

Yeah i don't push KQ here, but if someone showed numbers why its a push, i could be convinced. My default range here is 66+ AJ+ (and it looks like 66 is pretty marginal anyway). Then depending on the players behind i might be pushing ATs/ATo. Probably only need two people who i recognise as multitablers to push AT.

So is the consensus Pudge can push KQ on Party but if you are playing on PS don’t even think about?

The equilibrium should be around:
Hero push: 14.40% (33+,A8o+,A4s+,KJs+)
CO+1 call: 6.30%
CO call: 5.90% (88+,AQo+,ATs+)
Button call: 5.60%
SB call: 6.30%
BB call: 7.20%

In SNGPT it's very marginal with tight ranges for villains. If overcalls are factored in I'm pretty sure it's going to be -$EV.

It's my contention that KQs is rarely in the correct range even in theory, and is never in it in practice.

Apparently UrbanMeyer is a major nit but will be getting paid by -EV calls from spacegravy in the near future.
