I'm not sure whether this is the correct area to post this but regardless im moving up from .25/.50 to .50/1 and im just wondering whether there are any major differences between the play in each limit. Anything you can offer ill be more than pleased to hear

I haven't played much but have tried .25/.50 to 3/6 and in between. I haven't noticed much difference in play until the 3/6

Your competition will obvioulsy improve as you move up. In general you'll find it more difficult to extract $ when you are strong, because the players are better. Likewise your opponents will be more adept at extracting value from you.

You'll find much of the same, although a few rocks and maniacs are replaced by decent TAGs and LAGs.

Also your WR will go down. You might be getting 11BB/100 or something now, but after moving up a couple times that will be a distant memory.
