Re: Tournament player who doesn\'t want to play with female opponents
Thanks for the advice! It was hard to keep a cool head, but in retrospect it was fun. Maybe I'll get to play with him again soon

Re: Tournament player who doesn\'t want to play with female opponents
Don't feel sorry that you were able to read and play him correctly. Well done and keep at it. Next time, see if you can get someone who is less overt to make the same mistakes by doing something that will provoke a response or reinforce some of their stereotypes.

Re: Tournament player who doesn\'t want to play with female opponents
[ QUOTE ]
I went all-in. Indy had me covered and quickly called. We flipped the cards up, turn-blank, river-blank, and I won the hand. This must have put Indy on super-tilt. He went all in on the next two hands and busted out. My question is - what is a good way to deal with players like this? I can't go around winking at everyone [/ QUOTE ] Why not? Seems as if you handled it perfectly, with the expected result. Take his money, drive the idiot from the table cursing you out. |
