I never got how you could plan withholdings assuming you're smart enough to not volunteer extra withholdings. My dad suggested I claim 6 dependants once even though I'm single, but I don't really feel like lying on tax forms.
I'm going to get a $1500 refund this year but obv it would be better if they hadn't withheld that. |

For instance, buy and sell some stock. Then, instead of a refund, you get the joy of writing a check to the IRS four times a year. |
