Off Topic: Learning to play Mafia. Help me plz.
hey POG, I always see post about the game Mafia/Werewolf, but don't know how to play the game. Can someone help a n00b out? I really want to join in all the fun.

[/ QUOTE ] 1) Read the basic rules sticky. 2) Make a fool of yourself in a turbo 3) Repeat step 2) until you graduate to step 4) 4) dunno, haven't got there yet. In summary, if you've read the basic rules, and maybe through one or two turbos to understand roughly how it works then you're pretty much ready. The first couple of turbos are pretty hectic, but you'll get it pretty quick.

the 2nd thread in this forum has an overview of rules and guidelines; also, wikipedia under mafia(game) has some basic rules as well we run long games (1 gameday per real day) that usually run from morning until night, so you can play as long as you can post at some point during the day...one starts tomorrow, the Average Speed game; signup for that one if u wanna play a long game, as it'll have the basic ruleset of WW/Mafia we also try to play turbos during the daytime and in the evenings; these last maybe 1.5 hours but you need to be there the whole time in general, there are 9+ players, some are villagers and some wolves; villagers try to find who the wolves are before wolves outnumber the villagers everything is based in-thread, except moderator pms the players their roles and wolves pm each other during the night phase just join in and try it out; u'll learn as you go

we always have a signup thread to get players for a game and then a game thread to play it in; so u'll see signup threads and you need to join there then wait for game thread
