Brewers -1.5 (+105)
Tigers -1.5 (+105)
Cardinals -1.5 (+160)

3 team Parlay $50.37 to win $500

Lost a similar one last nite in the late game, Brewers/A's won but Angels lost to Cle.

So I'm new to this sports betting, but do Parlays suck ass? I realized after the fact that if I bet $50.37 on the Brewers, won @ (+105) then bet $103.26 on Tigers (+105) then bet $211.68 on Cardinals I would win a little over $550. so instead of 10/1 on my money I'd be getting 11/1. Do I just add to the juice I pay when I play parlays?

Dave nice to see you again, things been slow for you since October thanks to the wonderful government on the casino end of things? I know I took a beating on poker affilate money since.

Welcome to our little corner of 2+2. Always welcome to post and discuss baseball here with us.

I have been doing alright on RLs this season, Milwaukee being the bread and butter of my RL bets the past few weeks. Surprised you aren't playing them RL tonight against Washington.

My only 2 RL plays tonight are Milwaukee and Toronto.

Thanks Brendan. Things have been slow at times and busy at others, but it is definitely different now a days. I will say that everytime I worked on my site something terrible happened industry wide (1st time was the law, second time was Pinny and neteller). Well I got some [censored] going again, so if something happens you can all blame it on me.

Thanks for the response. I am going to keep posting in here as long as I have time.

I for sure have the Brewers and Tigers in mine. But again I know sweet nothing about betting baseball, so I'm taking money line. I got 3 others potentially.

I do know now that parlays are for suckers. Thanks to everyone in this forum who helped me see why. I bet straight up last night, and although I won less then I would have with parlays, I'm still confident long term it was correct.

I have Marlins to, but the Jays ? Really ? Hmm I'm betting on the sox here, and only because I feel Dice-K is still thinking about that bad inning he had last time against them, and is going to pitch a gem. I have no system. But I will do the -1.5 on the marlins, I had planned on only doing them ML.

I like

Boston
Marlins -1.5
Brewers ML
Tigers (haven't decided ML or line)
Twins ML
Jazz ML
*can't do this till I get home, can't gamble from work, lol*

quick question. Say pistons are -7. Has anyone ever bet them ML and -7, and adjusted bet sizes to cover one for the other ? So when they cover, you win big, and when they win but don't cover, you kind of hedge ? Sorry if this is a super newb question (don't want to decrease the quality of this section, but figure maybe this could help others).

people do this but they don't think of it in terms of a hedge, but in terms of increasing their bet size on a strong play.
