So I think I've gotten away from fundamentals much, and so I'm looking to question some of my more basic plays.
A) Given that this lead could be any set and possibly bare blockers, how is a raise on the flop? I could probably fold out bottom (and maybe middle) set, and I'm in fine shape against the set. B) What's your play on the turn? Pot Limit Omaha Ring game Blinds: $5/$10 6 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $1498.95 UTG+1: $975 CO: $2723.75 Hero: $1204 SB: $3572.25 BB: $771.50 Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is Button with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG calls, 2 folds, Hero raises to $45, SB calls, BB folds, UTG calls. Flop: 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($145, 3 players) SB checks, UTG bets $145, Hero calls, SB folds. a. flop: reraise pot (and call his push if he does so)
b. turn: fold, you lost your opportunity to get your money in when you had the odds on the draw, now you're only drawing to the nut flush with 7 outs and 1 card to come. |

I am going to try to get it all in on the flop here. Also, just how good I feel about that line depends on the opposition. I am never upset about getting it in on the flop here, but some times I am positively giddy.
