Default I bet on the KY Derby on Saturday online.........

I bet on the KY Derby on Saturday online and won some money. I had done an electronic fund deposit in order to top off my account to the amount I wanted.

I hit the exacta and trifecta.

On Monday I requested a withdrawal and the money hit my bank account this morning.

Of course betting on horse racing is legal in my state and is accepted by the Federal Government because it "improves the breed".

I sat in my living room and watched the whole card of races on tv and bet my choices on my computer thru an online wagering site which only accepts bets on horse racing. It is located in the USA and advertises in the Daily Racing Form. By all definitions horse racing is gambling and fixes in races are notorious.

The government is afraid that I will get hooked on gambling if I play poker online.

What is wrong with this picture?????

Bill Frist made it perfectly clear:
Betting on:
Horseracing
State lotteries
fantasy sports

all perfectly moral, legal and righteous. Betting on anything else and you are on the slippery slope to addiction and damnation.

The hypocrisy of the Republican party is appalling.

How many trifectas did you bet on? Hopefully it wasn't around 6,840.

Bill Frist made it perfectly clear:
Betting on things the gov't gets paid taxes on

all perfectly legal.

Betting on anything else they don't tax has been illegal for 4+ decades, particularly since the Wire Act.

The hypocrisy of Politicians is standard. But in this case they are consistent. Horses = taxed, PLO @ Party = untaxed.
