Default Maniac defense

I was thinking about this all day and couldn't really come to a good conclusion on how to beat maniacs out of position. They pot the flop pot the turn everytime. THe best conclusion I came to was check raising big on the turn with any peice of the board (mainly a pair) hoping that they will fold, but I don't know how maniacs react to this play.

How do you guys deal with these 80/57/6 players, OOP i seem so lost bc I rarely hit strong enough to just call down.

c/c a lot with marginal to strong hands. c/r'ing is usually not great bcoz most of the time they have nothing. just let them hang themselves with big bets on every street.

edit: oh yeah, i also tend to tighten up my 3bet and calling range pf vs these people to avoid ugly spots. in partic i never 3bet mid to small pairs coz they will likely give you a stack if you hit a set.
