It would help to know how you've been playing.

If I've been raising a lot, then he's more liable to reraise lighter.

If I've been playing tight, then I might give a tight player more respect.

Nothing wrong with playing JJ for set value at times.

Very good fold. I always end up calling, then folding turn.

Can someone explain the PT numbers to me, I never really got their exact meaning.

The first number is the VPIP right? So they put money in the pot voluntarily preflop 15% of the time whether it be limped, raised etc.

The second number is what? I always thought it was the avg. PF raise amount, but that doesn't seem right. Is a PF aggression ratio??

The third is the Agression Factor which is just the ratio of bets+raises to calls? where the higher the number the more aggressive the person is?

If I have a feel for the numbers, it doesn't seem like in this case that folding is wrong since this opponent doesn't look like they would routinely Re-Raise PF without good cards and if you call you are still oop so it will be hard to know what to do unless you spike a jack somehow.

What about betting $4ish on the flop? Is this spewy? I don't mind the c/f line, but I wonder what villian does if we bet.

yes. They play 15% of hands regardless of pf action.

Straight percentage. a PFR of 11 is raising 11% of the hands he plays.

Yes. The greater the number the more aggressive. This is the hardest number to quantify but if the number is a decimal and he's betting... LOOKOUT. If his aggression is 15 over a large sample he's just a betting machine and it has little bearing on his hand value.

The hardest part is putting it in context of his other numbers. If the person is loose and his aggression is high... he's probably bluffing and betting a lot of weak hands. We're getting into maniac territory. The smaller the first two numbers, the more telling the aggression number becomes.
