You are only perpetuating more homeless people to beg at stop lights, donate to shelters....

I don't think that word means what you think it means.

Nice POTB reference. I chuckled.

I gave a "Will work for food" bum a half of a fresh pizza that we were taking home with us. You would have thought I kicked him in the nuts by the look on his face.

I used to give homeless people leftovers when I left restaurants in NYC in the winter and I never had a single experience like this. They all seemed very appreciative.

I was outside my house one day when a bum that i always say hi to but never give money approached me. He said that he was getting cold at night and having a hard time recently. I then noticed that he had no socks.

So I went up to my apartment and grabed some clean socks (I wore them twice, maybe). When I handed them to the guy he looked at me and said, "these are [censored] used!!!".

I started laughing and walked away.

moral of the story: bums are idiots. this is why they are bums. it really is a pity we can't just get out our shotguns and go bronson on them. that way we wouldn't be getting hassled all the time by the "under-opportunied" for smokes, cash, food and whatever else it is these schmucks expect me to provide for them.

missing a limb? fine, i give. blind or in a wheelchair? no problem, i give. between the age of 18 and 30, walking on both legs (not even crutches) and with gall enough to turn down fresh food and real money? i wish i was charles bronson.
