In a five dollar rake game, which is pretty common everywhere but Vegas, folding this spot is not as horrendous as some on here are claiming, especially if you are playing for a living.
That said, I think open rasising far outpaces limping for a ton of reasons I am sure you can think of on your own. Control, the lead, possibly folding the SB, flop bluffing opportunity, etc....I think those advantages outweigh deception in a maximum 4 handed pot. If played, this type of hand needs to be played as the best hand in this situation......Or mucked FJM |
