[/ QUOTE ] it could lead to animosity. i don't know how likely this is to actually happen, but if there's one guy with more money who should obviously be taking the bigger room, the others can run up the price of the big room. if the rich guy felt like he was being screwed over too much he could stop bidding and stick one of the broke guys in the big room. doubt it would go that far, but there could be animosity along those lines. [/ QUOTE ] So design the auction differently - eg, whoever bids the most gets the room for the value of the SECOND highest bid, or the average of all the bids etc. |
