First ask yourself if you are willing to buy in directly.

By this I think Kramer means that it doesn't really matter. Just find a way to make $10,000 and go play. If that means grinding cash games, go do it. If that means playing sats., go do it.

I dont think i would make that much this days.

fancy winning one through a site too - then everything is taken care of - I figure that somewhere like PlayboyGaming is a pretty good shout. They are throwing in lunch with a few playmates too!

What other deals are sites offering that you guys know of?

Well that's just my point. If the idea of $12K excites you as much as it sounds like nubile women do, then you might never make it to WSOP even if you win a satellite. All sites that I know of are merely awarding $12,000 cash for winners of WSOP satellites and leaving it up you whether you want to pocket it or play.

That said, if you feel $12K is fair market price for lunch and 3 scantily clad playmates... satellite away!

hahahaha

Now you are making me feel like a dirty old man!

I see your point - but what im saying is that when you go away with a site they tend to look after you when you are there - book your accomodation, organise parties etc. I went with a poker playing buddy last year who won a package through interpoker and had a wicked time!

Its worth it even if you have to buy yourself in because of legality problems.

If your from the states, avoid qualifying online. There very well could be a bust by the FEDS at this years event.

Ladbrokes was by far the best package last year. Lots of extras, three different events (one warmup, one consolation), lots of spending money and the chance to play pool with Steve Davies.

I haven't checked it out this year though. William Hill's are the worst.
