Re raise a bit more pre flop, like 3.50-4. Might seem small but it does make a difference.

Your flop bet is awful, it screams please raise me. I would raise that bet with air. Bet like 5-6

And yes you are behind

bet more on the flop( 4-4.5). fold to the push. Villain is not that aggro, so he is probably looking for value here. Since you reraised him preflop, I can't believe he will do this with TT, JJ, KQ.
