Default Which live table sounds more profitable?

Which live table seems more profitable? Rake caps at 3 but there's a $1 jackpot rake.

4/8 kill 10 handed:
Most players too loose preflop (5+ to the flop everytime.) A few only slightly too loose preflop and maybe one player who seems to play about right.

5 or 6 players play OK postflop but miss bets here and there and make a bad call here and there and play too passively and are somewhat easy to read. 2 players who play almost as good as me =) post flop. 1 or 2 Players play very passively, make many bad calls and are also very predictable.

2/4 10 handed:
7 or 8 Players playing way too loose preflop 1 or 2 playing slightly too loose. (7+ to the flop)

4 Players making very bad calls and playing too passively. 4 players playing too passively but laying down at the right times mostly. 1 Maniac.

The rake alone makes the 4/8 kill table a better option for a decent player. Having several bad players there just makes it sweeter.

Default Re: Which live table sounds more profitable?

Real life results YTD live results from Commerce and one Las Vegas trip: 58 hrs. @ 2/4 +608 = +2.6BB/hr. 64 hrs. @ 4/8 -517 = -1BB/hr. So until I turn that 4/8 win rate positive my actual result is counterintuitive. My results just tick me off because I only play 2/4 between other games. Last Sat. I played it when I could see the de la Hoya fight for free in the 2/4 area, but the fight wasn't showing in the 4/8 area.

I am going to be interested to see how my results fair over time. Can I bring my 4/8 rate up? I know my cards have been HOT at 2/4 and that will change. I haven't had a heater at 4/8 and had one at 2/4.

I am keeping close score on these issues this year to gain some insight into my play which seems to mirror on the differences between these two kinds of tables. YMMV.
